Our Story
Where Passion Meets Flavor
MeatBone Market was born with a simple yet ambitious purpose: to bring back the authentic butcher shop experienceand deliver hand-selected cuts to your table, prepared with skill, care, and respect for every ingredient — right here in Cumming, Georgia.
It all started with Douglas Mincey, who stepped into this world at just 17 years old, working behind the scenes of a butcher shop — breaking down boxes, cleaning floors, stocking shelves, and helping out in the kitchen. His work ethic and discipline quickly stood out, and before long he earned his first opportunity to work directly with the meats.
Over the years, Douglas rose to become Head Butcher and Assistant Manager at that very same shop. In 2020, the vision for something greater was born; by 2021, that vision became reality with the creation of MeatBone Market (EST. 2021) — a place where customers find expert eyes for marbling, precise cuts, and a standard of quality with no shortcuts.
Today, we remain true to our roots: personal service, custom cuts, and a curated selection that prioritizes flavor, freshness, and trust. From our butcher block to your table — always.
